Cleanser
Use a non-stripping and hydrating cleanser formulated for dry skin. Make sure to use cool water and don't over cleanse your skin.
If you wear makeup and sunscreen, using an oil-based cleanser before a water-based one can mitigate the drying effects of the water-based cleanser, and your skin will be properly cleansed. Always be gentle!
Toner
Use a replenishing toner to rehydrate and rebalance your skin after cleansing. Pat on multiple layers for a real boost of hydration.
Lactic Acid
This is a gentle chemical exfoliant that hydrates the skin and boosts radiance. It can improve dry patches and brighten dull skin.
Moisturizer
A heavy moisturizer is needed to make up for the lack of oil in your skin. Use one with barrier-strengthening ingredients like ceramides and squalane.
Never Skip Sunscreen
UV rays damage the skin and worsen dryness.
Centella Asiatica
This is a deeply soothing and hydrating plant extract proven to accelerate skin healing. It stimulates collagen production and helps to increase the natural levels of hyaluronic acid in the skin, which will improve chronically dry skin.
