Centella Asiatica (Cica) Extract

Scientific studies have shown that it:

• Accelerates wound healing

• Stimulates collagen production, which improves signs of aging and firms the skin

• Is anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory

• Improves the skin’s ability to retain moisture and increases the skins natural hyaluronic acid content

• Improves acne and excess oiliness

This cream not only contains a whopping 50% of Centella Asiatica Extract, but the individual active compounds of Cica have been added as well. These include Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid and Madecassic Acid. This truly packs a powerful punch of Cica power.

Ceramide NP

Ceramides are fats that play an important role in locking hydration in and protecting the skin. Ceramides in the skin reduce due to aging or damage. Ceramide NP in particular is known to intensely improve the moisture content and skin barrier function in aging and dry skin.

Squalane

This is an oil which has a chemical structure akin to the oil our skin naturally produces. Because of the similarity, it feels lightweight and is easily absorbed. It keeps skin healthy and plump, thanks to its ability to seal water in and function as an antioxidant. Squalane is suitable for all skin types – including oily and acne prone!

Sodium Hyaluronate

The salt form of Hyaluronic Acid. It has similar properties, except that it is a smaller molecule, and therefore absorbs deeper into the skin. Hyaluronic Acid is a molecule that attracts and holds onto water. It deeply hydrates and plumps up the skin. Has anti-inflammatory and soothing capabilities, and may help to balance the skin’s oil production.
